April 18: Gypsy Sally’s – with Cross Kentucky!!

I’m super excited to announce that after a two-year break, my band Cross Kentucky is back – with a big show Friday, April 18th at one of DC’s premier venues, Gypsy Sally’s in Georgetown. Check out what a great room it is at www.gypsysallys.com. Also on the bill is popular NYC roots/Americana outfit Yarn. It’s going to be a great show, and one that I’ve worked hard to make happen. I really hope you can come and check out the music I’ve been working on for so long now. We’re on at 9pm sharp, for one set.

Cross Kentucky consists of a rotating cast of characters, but is primarily myself, Bobby Birdsong/pedal steel, Mark Williams/guitar (also the engineer and producer of my upcoming rekkid) Kevin DeSouza & Ethan Foote/bass, and Adam Ashforth/drums. Occasionally we’ll be graced with Audrey Hamilton/fiddle/vox, Dave Mallen/keys, and Daniel Davis/trumpet & Lindsay Williams/saxophone.

We’ll be playing songs mostly from my upcoming record “…Beneath Potomac Skies”. Come check out my new band, my new music, this new step in my musical life. Hope to see you there!!
